October 2023: WSHF Funded a New 3D Mammography Van at Roseland Community Hospital.
This 3D mammography van houses specialized mammography machinery equipped with advanced 3D imaging technology for conducting mammograms outside of traditional hospital settings. Its primary purpose is to provide convenient access to breast cancer screening for women in underserved or remote areas, as well as for individuals who face difficulties in reaching healthcare facilities. Specific features of the coach unit include; -Hologic 3D, R-2 Cad, power conditioner, generator, stairway, wheel chair lift, HWH leveling system, alarm tracker, patient check in desk, and private section for patient privacy.
